Privacy Policy

Personal Information: The only personal information we hold about our clients is information provided voluntarily. This includes any information necessary to provide a professional service and includes name, contact details and pickup location (usually work place or home address).
A significant percentage of our business comes from regular clients and repeat services. We retain information submitted to us so that clients do not have to resubmit their information.
All information is stored securely and is not shared with any other party. It is not used for any purpose other than providing our dog walking service.

Under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) that came into force May 25th 2018, people have a right to know what information is held about them and to be removed from any list where there is not a valid or legal requirement to retain the information. Anyone who has submitted information to us and wants it to be amended or removed can do so by contacting us using the email mail@doggyventures.co.uk with the subject heading DATA.

Cookies

The site does use cookies but they do not record any personal information and cookies cannot extract information stored on computers.

Cookies set by the online forms we use prevent abuse of the system by recording the computer’s IP address. An IP address looks like 218.3.128.12 – it identifies the computer not the user.

Cookies set by Google Analytics help us improve our site by telling us how many visitors the site has, how long on average people stay on the site etc.

Cookies are essential for common tasks such ensuring you do not have to login into a site every time you visit a new page (by remembering IP addresses they identify computers that have already logged in).
